About Maura
Maura Philippone (she/her) is a licensed speech-language pathologist and a PhD student at Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI, USA). Specializing in voice and speech interventions, her research interests include optimizing interventions for people with neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Parkinson’s disease), serious games for healthcare and education, and gender-affirming voice training.
With a strong focus on advancing treatment and education through innovative methods, Maura is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and educational experiences.
